Dr. Chanel earned her Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) and holds a Bachelor of Science from Dalhousie University, where her passion for evidence-informed and patient-centered care first took root.

Her most recent clinical training includes a rotation at Toronto’s leading rehabilitation hospital, the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute (KITE), where she worked within interdisciplinary teams alongside physiatrists, anesthesiologists, and other specialists. Her diverse experience spans chronic pain, post-surgical care, neurological conditions, and functional rehabilitation, giving her a deep understanding of complex patient needs.

She’s committed to providing care that’s not only evidence-based, but also functional, collaborative, and tailored to the individual. Whether she’s treating acute sports injuries or helping a new parent manage postural strain, Dr. Chanel focuses on outcomes that matter to her patients’ lives outside the clinic.

At the core of her practice is the biopsychosocial model, a holistic approach that recognizes pain and recovery are influenced not just by physical injury, but also by mental, emotional, and social factors. Dr. Chanel believes effective care requires truly understanding the whole person: their goals, environment, mindset, and lived experience. Her mission is to empower patients to move confidently, feel resilient, and return to the activities they love, without fear or limitation.
