Originally from Ireland, Daragh completed a BSc in Health and Performance Science at University College Dublin (2013), followed by an MSc in Food Science and Nutrition at the University of Reading (2015), before moving to Scotland to pursue Physiotherapy and completing his MSc in Physiotherapy at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh (2021).

Since qualifying, Daragh has worked across a range of areas including neurological rehabilitation, orthopaedics, cardio-respiratory, and musculoskeletal care. While he treats a broad range of MSK conditions, he has developed a particular passion for concussion rehabilitation — especially helping people with persistent symptoms who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure why recovery has plateaued.

Daragh’s treatment approach to concussion care is grounded in evidence-based practice and systems integration. He works to identify the underlying drivers of symptoms by assessing the interactions between the brain, visual system, vestibular system, autonomic nervous system, and cervical spine. He utilizes both diagnostic technology and detailed bedside assessments to identify system dysfunction and guide treatment planning. Rehabilitation programs are highly individualized and designed to restore capacity, improve stability and systems integration, and rebuild your foundations step-by-step.

Daragh has also lived with a stutter his entire life. This experience has shaped his perspective as a clinician, fostering empathy, resilience, and a deep appreciation for the challenges individuals face when their bodies or brains are not performing the way they should. His own journey has strongly influenced his passion for helping people navigate complex and often misunderstood conditions such as persistent concussion symptoms.

Outside of work, Daragh enjoys strength training, Gaelic football, hiking, and exploring Nova Scotia with his wife Allison, their newborn Odhran, and their dog Rue.

Her most recent clinical training includes a rotation at Toronto’s leading rehabilitation hospital, the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute (KITE), where she worked within interdisciplinary teams alongside physiatrists, anesthesiologists, and other specialists.
